American Muslims Condemn ISIS

American Muslims vehemently con­demn the murderous campaign of ISIS and those who have

falsely attributed its leadership to anyone in the family of the Holy Last Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him). The founder and Imam of The Muslims of America, Inc., His Eminence El Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gillani El Qadri El Hashmi El Hassani wal Husseini, a member of Ahli Bayt, or direct descendent of the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him), appeals to the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, to aid in restoring peace in the world.

Honorable President, bloodlines cannot be changed and in your family runs the blood of the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him); therefore, we, The Muslims of America, appeal to you to expedite the realization of peace by bringing Muslims and Christians together against those who spread hate and those who support the genocide being committed by ISIS.

No Muslim and no descendant of the Holy Last Messenger, peace be upon him, would ever tell people to commit crimes against humanity as is being perpetrated by the treacherous ISIS. Islam stands for peace. The Holy Qur’an explicitly forbids murder against unarmed citizens, priests, synagogues and churches. Islam does not sanction killings and suicide attacks.

It is documented that in the time when the Great Caliph Hazrat Umar (peace be upon him) set out to take over Jerusalem, a letter was composed wherein it was stated that the non-Muslims would unequivocally receive just treatment. “Their churches will not be inhabited by Muslims and will not be destroyed. Neither they, nor the land on which they stand, nor their cross, nor their property will be damaged. They will not be forcibly converted,” read the treaty. This provided safety and security for the inhabitants of Jerusalem to worship and live in peace and prosperity under Muslim rule. This  policy of peace was often repeated and written in the authentic traditions of the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him). He (peace be upon him) reinforced the sanctity of the relationship between Muslims, Christians and Jews by saying: "He who wrongs a Jew or a Christian will have myself as his accuser on the Day of Judgment." (Al-Bukhari)

When Islam was thriving, Najran was the biggest center of Christianity in Arabia. It was at this time that the Holy Last Messenger, peace be upon him, wrote a pact with the Christians that can be referenced to affirm the commitment of Islam to protect the innocent. An excerpt of the letter states:  “Najran has the protection of God and the pledge of Muhammad, the Prophet, to protect their lives, faith, land, and property… They need not change anything of their past customs. No right of theirs or their religion shall be altered. No bishop, monk or church guard shall be removed from his position. They are not held in suspicion and they shall suffer no vengeance killing. If any one of the people of Najran demands his rights, justice shall be done between the plaintiff and respondent. Neither oppression shall be allowed to be perpetrated on them, nor shall they be permitted to oppress anyone…”

This same level of respect and peace between Muslims and Christian can and is being accomplished in places such as Pakistan, a Muslim country, where there is a Christian college on 300 acres with all living as brethren to each other. If Muslims and Christians can live peacefully, then surely, should not Muslims be safe from the hands of other Muslims?

ISIS abuses the name of Islam when they actually follow their own deviant religion, wahhabism, and their Imam, Ibn Wahhab. ISIS and its Wahhabi roots use the media and the money of its financial supporters to spread the lie that they represent Islam, when in actuality, they are enemies of Muslims. Moreover, it is the descendants of the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him) who are the most oppressed people in the world suffering at the hands of these wahhabis. ISIS is insulting the name and honor of Ahle Bayt when, in fact, all Muslims are commanded by the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him) to respect, protect and treat well his beloved family. Unfortunately, ISIS and the Wahhabis pay no reverence to Ahle Bayt and instead harbor the worst hatred, with the ruthless and vile intent to kill them, demolish the homes, tombs, shrines and sacred places of the Holy Last Messenger’s descendants, peace be upon them all.

The family tree of the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him) is well known. Members of Ahle Bayt can be found in Jordan, Pakistan, Senegal, and Mali. At least 60% of the Muslims in Senegal are Qadri and even in Mali there are Jilanis. Yet, in Mali, these extremist Wahhabis, called Al-Qaeda, have begun to spread their venomous falsehood and commit terrible acts against Muslims and non-Muslims alike attributing the violence erroneously to Islam. Through this deviant religion, wahhabism, no country or people are safe. Their aim is to spread chaos and pit brother against brother, Muslim against Christian, creating and cultivating a clash of civilizations.

Our Iman, El Sheikh Gillani, has made it compulsory that North American Muslims participate in the United Muslim Christian Forum (UMCF), whose goal is to unite Muslims and all mankind on the common ground of belief in the One Almighty God.  People have been reminded and directed to cultivate good relations with their Christian neighbors in an ongoing effort to replace unfounded hate with peace and understanding. However, there is a third “hidden hand” that continues to spread baseless allegations and inflame an incessant hate campaign against Muslims in order to cause riots, prejudice and havoc. How can followers of Jesus, son of Mary (upon him peace) hate the people, Muslims, who also believe in and follow him? It is a historical fact that when Jesus, son of Mary (upon him peace) came to the Romans, he too was persecuted, accused of being a terrorist, and made out to be a threat to humanity. Nowadays, this same hidden group, who never believed in any holy book, is doing a similar thing to Muslims in order to instigate a conflict. Yet, Muslims are the only witnesses that Jesus, son of Mary (upon them peace) was and is a pious holy man, the Word of God and born of the chaste Mary. The Holy Qur’an defends his mother as a virtuous and pious lady. Muslims believe that Jesus, son of Mary, was not a result of illegitimate birth.

The United States and Canada should win back the confidence of the Muslims. We know, by and large, that Americans are very simple people, they’re not shrewd, cunning and cruel. They mind their own business. Therefore, this ‘hidden third hand’ is the real enemy of the United States of America. Let Muslims and Christians continue to work alongside one another by holding peace rallies and celebrating together the birthday of Jesus son of Mary and the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon them) because it cannot be done in other countries. It is not possible to be done even in Saudi Arabia, which claims to be a Muslim country, lest the people be put to death.

As American Muslims, we remain loyal as America is our birthplace, homeland, and residence, in which our many generations have helped establish this great nation. This is part of the mission of the followers of Ahle Bayt and of El Sheikh Gillani, who initially came to America on a humanitarian mission to introduce the El Gilani Methodology (EGM) for the  healing of physical and nonphysical diseases. EGM is a standardized system that utilizes select portions of the Holy Qur’an, supplications, and spiritual exercises to cure so-called incurable diseases. EGM was pioneered by El Sheikh Gillani in 1976 as a result of a scientific and clinical experiment performed under the auspices of the World Health Organization in Taif, Saudi Arabia at the behest of their government. EGM has been scientifically proven to heal those suffering from AIDS, schizophrenia, depression, chronic and acute physical illnesses, cancers, and neurological disorders, to name a few. Healing with EGM has continued for decades in America under the expert spiritual guidance of El Sheikh Gillani.  “I am not an ordinary person, I was sent directly as a guide with signs from Almighty God,” El Sheikh Gillani explains.

One monumental, miraculous sign is the  appearance of  personal name of Almighty God, Allah, in Arabic script on the wall of the masjid in Hancock, New York at the headquarters of The Muslims of America, Inc. This masjid, now dedicated to Hazrat Ghaus ul Azam Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani (may God be pleased with him), has shown this miraculous sign which continues to shine luminously on the wall of the masjid since August 2010 – over four years later.  “I’m not speaking on my own,” El Sheikh Gillani continues, “this has been authorized by Almighty Allah, The Glorified and Exalted and the Holy Last Messenger (peace be upon him) for me to guide people on the straight path. Neither I, nor any of my followers, have committed any violence.” As a matter of fact, El Sheikh Gillani is grateful to the US State Department for clarifying his innocence in the unfortunate case of Daniel Pearl, which has been falsely attributed to El Sheikh Gillani by the enemies of peace.
