Tahir’s apparent and hidden relationships and interactions with Shi’a—mostly Rawafid, known for shameless cursing and slander of the Holy Companions and Wives of the Holy Last Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah upon them—are part of his long list of controversial and un-Islamic activities giving further cause as to the reason he has been denounced by the Qadiri Order.
The customs and practices of the Rawafid have been detailed by the founder of the Qadiri Order—Ghaus al-A’zam Sheikh Abdul-Qadir Gilani, blessings of Allah Ta’ala upon him—in his book, Al-Ghunya li-Tālibī Tarīq al-Haqq. In the section titled “Al-Farq bayn al-Firaq” (The Differences Between the Sects), Ghaus al-A’zam (may Allah be pleased with him) expounds upon the deviant beliefs and practices of the Rawafid and their sub-sects in great detail, concluding with the condemnation: “They are guilty of falsehood! Doom upon them until the Day of Resurrection!”
The High Court of Pakistan in Lahore declared him as a person who is dishonest, greedy, a liar, and “capable of causing drama,” more than twenty years ago. And yet, a week ago, the whole world witnessed a pre-arranged drama orchestrated by Tahir wherein the shameless promotion of himself using a mysteriously high financial budget pervaded all of Pakistan. His power-hungry scheme nearly caused massive bloodshed, for his plan called for “extreme measures” if his demands were not met. These “extreme measures” included the forceful occupying of a government building in Islamabad, a potential disaster pitting people in Pakistan—who simply want an improved quality of life—against Pakistani military forces.
The head of the Qadiri Order reiterates that this fake Sheikh—whom the Qadiri Mashayikh and Ahlul-Bayt have disowned—should not be let back into Canada, as he has demonstrated how he is capable of instigating disorder.
