Oil Pulling is a remedy that has been practiced in Egypt, China and India for thousands of years, and it is slowly making a rise in America. The tongue is an indicator of what is going on in the body. The tongue is also connected to many organs in the body as are the feet. The Chinese and Japanese have used tongue diagnosis as an essential when determining health. They believe it reflects the state of our digestive system including the stomach, small intestines, colon (large intestine), pancreas, spleen, liver and gall bladder.

The tongue can tell us about possible problems in the body from the color, shape and markings that may appear. In oil pulling you do not necessarily look at your tongue. You use the tongue as a vehicle to healing and wellness. When a person uses the oil pulling technique they aid the body in naturally healing themselves. Oil pulling is one of the most outstanding methods of detoxification and healing and is simple and inexpensive. It intensifies the body’s metabolism, which leads to over all good health. It increases energy levels and helps you to digest food better.

The full effect of oil pulling can be obtained after a 6 to 8 weeks daily regime with no breaks. Some people report relief from certain conditions after doing it only once. Minor problems often clear up within a few days. More serious, chronic problems may require a few weeks or several months or more depending on your lifestyle. What happens is that toxins are pulled from the body the very first time you try it, through the mouth. One of the first cleansing symptoms you will experience is an increased flow of mucous from your throat and sinuses. Mucous drainage is one of the body’s methods of removing toxins. While you are pulling, mucous may build in the back of your throat. You may also experience a little nausea and perhaps even need to vomit as your body expels toxic waste. Other symptoms may also arise temporarily. These symptoms will leave as your body becomes cleaner and you become more comfortable with oil pulling. Oil pulling is a form of detoxification and should become a regular part of your daily schedule, like brushing your teeth. It is also effective in brightening teeth, firming loose teeth, healing gums, preventing bad breath, controlling inflammation, and healing oral infections. Oil pulling is cheap; the only expense is for the oil you use. It is very easy; you simply swish oil in your mouth. Compared to other forms of detoxification it is relatively effortless. Nearly anyone can do it, regardless of their level of health. This is a simple way to detoxify daily. It is helpful due to the fact that we have so many toxins in our food, air and water.
In the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach you take one tablespoon, of cold pressed 100% organic sesame oil (this is the oldest used oil and to many the best), or coconut oil (many people swear by this oil) it is really your choice. METHOD: Move the Oil Slowly in the mouth as rinsing or swishing. Suck and pull the oil through the teeth for fifteen to twenty minutes. This process makes oil thoroughly mixed with saliva. Swishing activates the enzymes and the enzymes draw toxins out of tongue from the blood. The oil must not be swallowed, for it has become toxic. As the process continues, the oil gets thinner and white. If the oil is still yellow, it has not been pulled long enough. It is then spit from the mouth. The oral cavity must be thoroughly rinsed and the mouth must be washed thoroughly. Oil pulling has been accredited with curing the following maladies;

Halitosis, sugar cravings resulting in weight loss, headaches, bronchitis, tooth pain, allergies, heart and kidney diseases, chronic blood diseases, excessive sleepiness, stomach disorders, chemical poisoning, poisonous chemicals in food, woman’s illnesses, acne, skin rashes, asthma, arthritis, migraines, constipation, gum disease and much more.
