Having failed many years of conventional medical treatment, a gentleman approached me seeking EGM therapy for his diagnosis of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). After many months of counseling, the patient seemed to be adhering to the rationale that he first received from psychiatrists regarding his affliction.

Having failed many years of conventional medical treatment, a gentleman approached me seeking EGM therapy for his diagnosis of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). After many months of counseling, the patient seemed to be adhering to the rationale that he first received from psychiatrists regarding his affliction. This is despite the fact that he has had no helpful explanation for what has occurred and continues to suffer pain and mental anguish. To no avail I have tried to convey to him that this problem cannot be organic in nature but may result in organic signs and symptoms.

For the first time in the world, healing with the Holy Qur’an has been proven [scientifically]. A complete wing has been established in the Shahar Mental Hospital, Taif, where this type of therapy is being practiced. This project commenced last month [1976] under the supervision of a group of qualified doctors, headed by one Dr. Osama Radi, who are healing various [mental and physical] conditions through selected lines of the Holy Qur’an.

What is needed to prevent this illness, is the knowledge of what causes it exactly. Here are a few things that can cause Alzheimer’s disease:

Alzheimer’s disease became well known in 1906 when German physician Alois Alzheimer became dismayed over one of his patient’s behavior. She had come to him in 1901 for treatment. She was a 51 year old woman who had become very confused. She developed problems with speaking and understanding what was being said to her. He worked hard to try to help her, however all of his efforts failed. Her symptoms worsened, and she passed away. He had so many unanswered questions that he requested permission from her family to do an autopsy. The autopsy revealed many things.

Nobel Peace Prize nominee Aminatou Haidar has ended the month-long hunger strike initiated in protest to her forced exile from her home in Western Sahara.  Ms. Haidar was flown by chartered jet from Lanzarote Airport in the Spanish Canary Islands where she spent nearly a month, refusing to move until her passport was returned to her and Morrocan authorities permitted her to return to her two children and other family members in El Ayoun, Western Sahara.
