As the head of a family largely comprised of US citizens, Imam of Muslims of the Americas Inc; Vice Chancellor of the International Qur’anic Open University; founder and Editor–in-Chief of the Islamic Post; and founder of the United Muslim Christian Forum, I am often called upon to explain Islam’s position on terrorism, suicide bombings and Islam’s compatibility with democracy. The growing threat of violence in the world has accelerated the urgency to uncover the truth of the massive conspiracy of 9/11 that launched a widespread conspiracy engendering “Islamophobia”, which if left unabated, will certainly destroy America and the world as we now know it. Searching for answers to the 9/11 hoax from reliable sources, the research department of the Islamic Post evaluated a July 4, 2011 article entitled, “Inside Job: Seven Questions About 9/11” and a follow-up piece titled “Inside Job:  More Proof of 9/11 Duplicity,” written by an American patriot, distinguished scholar and retired US Marine Corps Captain, Professor James H. Fetzer, PhD, and published for Veterans Today.

His Eminence Muhyiddin El Sheikh  Sayyid Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani al Hasani wal Husaini wal Hashmi Al Mujadid was asked, “Who is this person, Dr. Tahirul Qadri, claiming to be Sheikh ul Islam?”  His Eminence replied, “He [Tahirul Qadri] is a fake Qadri who came here and introduced a Pakistani brand of Islam.  No one receives this charlatan as Sheikh-ul-Islam. Pakistan is full of thousands of people, like him, who pretend to be scholars and Sufis. They cheat people in the name of the Qadri Order.”

His Eminence Shah Gilani added that Dr Tahirul Qadri had been warned about defrauding the public some fifteen years ago, as mentioned in an article in the New Baghdad.

His Eminence further stressed, “Does not he know that in Holy Islamberg, New York, in the Jamia Tajalli Azam Qadriyya Baitullah, the miraculous manifestation of Allah, the Most High’s, Divine Name, has been shining for the past ten months? Why doesn’t he pay homage? True Sufis are aware of the proper ethical decorum and protocol. These pious men and women know that one’s rank and status will be raised or lowered by honoring or disrespecting the signs of Allah, the Most High. One perfect Sufi guide, who came certified with divine manifestations and miracles, was made Khalifa and Naib of the Holy Rasul (peace be upon him) in his presence, by his hand, in the Darbar Sharif, Holy Court.”

Just a couple of short weeks ago very few Americans knew the name Hosni Mubarak. Indeed Mr. Mubarak could have walked the streets with anonymity in my hometown of St. Louis, caught a movie, and went out to dinner and would not have been recognized.

Today that is no longer the case as coverage on Egypt is in the media 24/7. At first the coverage of the protests was almost exclusively positive. As Americans we pride ourselves on being a nation that stands for liberty and democratic values. People sympathized with the young people in Tahrir Square even if they were not sure why the people had taken to the streets.

The Tunisia Constitutional Council on January 15 officially announced that President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali has permanently left the office of the president after his flight from the country in the face of mass protests. Tunisians had overtaken government buildings demanding the resignation of the president, with his intention not to run for a sixth term of office.
The leader of the lower house of parliament, Foued Mebezza, is assuming until elections are held in two months, as reported by Maureen Cosgrove of Jurist.

It is a great honor , on this auspicious occasion of the commemoration of the miraculous birth and mission of the Holy Messenger Jesus, son of the Chaste Saint Mary, may the peace of the Almighty Creator be upon them both, to convey to all, a Divinely- inspired message from El Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani Hashmi, Hasani wel Husseini, a direct descendant of the Holy Last Messenger Muhammad,peace be upon him, whom Allah, The Most Exalted, stated in the Holy Qur’an, is a mercy to all mankind.

We Muslims know that we cannot stop the hate campaign against Muslims because the enemy of Islam believes that Muslims have become a danger to their existence. We know these enemies are trying to bring about a clash between Muslims and Christians, but that will not happen. We have read the article written by Donna Gehrke-White and Tim Collie, published in Newsmax Magazine, November, 2010, and found it most misleading and incoherent, written by those who do not know much about Islam. The only thing that is evident from this article is that it is the work of one of the hundreds of hate groups which are trying to bring about a clash between Muslims and Christians. It is the cover up of the hatred felt for American Muslims, be they indigenous or settlers.

In late March, the House of Representatives soundly rejected a call to withdraw American troops by the end of the year, in a strong bipartisan endorsement by President Obama’s administration policy in Afghanistan.
According to NY times, after spending over three hours to debate allowing antiwar Democrats to air their dissent, the House voted 356 to 65 to reject the withdrawal proposal.

On June 8, 1967, two squadrons of Israeli warplanes bombed, napalmed and machine-gunned the US intelligence-gathering ship, USS Liberty, in international waters, killing 34 US sailors and wounding another 172.  The assault took place on a sunny afternoon, with the US flag and identifying markers clearly visible.  The Israelis targeted the antennae to prevent the crew from broadcasting for help and shot up the lifeboats to ensure no survivors.  There were, however, survivors who rigged up an antenna and radioed their distress, a call for help that reached Washington D.C.  In an unprecedented act of betrayal, President Johnson, in close liaison with powerful American Jewish Zionist political backers, covered up the mass murder on the high seas by issuing orders first to recall Mediterranean-based warplanes from rushing to assist their besieged comrades, then threatening to court-martial the survivors who might expose the deliberate nature of the Israeli assault and finally by repeating the Israeli line that the attack was a matter of mistaken identity, a lie which numerous military leaders later rejected.

Over the past three years, the 14 Caribbean countries that signed the Petrocaribe agreement have received between 120,000 and 140,000 barrels of oil per day from Venezuela on preferential terms. One BBC report noted that Petrocaribe assistance to Caribbean nations (other than Trinidad and Barbados) is vital as it has saved the region from experiencing an economic crisis.

An estimated 2.5 million hectares of land have been appropriated by foreign acquisition in countries like Ethiopia -in what may be the greatest change of ownership since the colonial era, and this while millions of its citizens are in need of food aid. Land is increasingly claimed by and leased out to transnational entities, government businesses, multinational corporations, and international organizations. 

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) says it is “a matter of serious concern” that the Obama Administration rebuked the recent announcement of settlement expansion as “a deeply negative signal.” AIPAC is calling “on the Administration to take immediate steps to defuse the tension with the Jewish State,” after an ill-timed announcement made by the Israeli government during the height of US Vice President Joe Biden’s Middle East tour that settlements in East Jerusalem would increase by 1600 persons.

Delegates to the National Congress of American Indians Executive Council Session met in late March to network with each other, and to meet with legislators and policymakers. Leaders and activists from many of America’s 526 federally recognized Native American tribes discussed strategies for lobbying Congress and the Obama administration on a host of political, economic and social issues, including questions of sovereignty for American Indian nations and tribes.
