Archbishop of Canterbury makes Interfaith Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, recently concluded a four day visit to Jordan, Israel and Palestine with personal prayers for “peace and for justice for all the people of the region,” including those who felt so little hope for the future. “God’s faithfulness is sure and will never fail,” said the Archbishop.

Harvard Affiliate Advocates Eugenics in Palestine During Darwin Bicentennial

Last month, a visiting scholar to Harvard’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Martin Kramer, made what he called a memorable argument for the role of population growth in radicalization.

Last month, a visiting scholar to Harvard’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Martin Kramer, made what he called a memorable argument for the role of population growth in radicalization.

However his opinion is not shared by all. Mr. Kramer’s views have been hotly contested from many quarters of academia and laymen alike, who accuse the scholar of promoting genocide. Many critics have called for a complete disassociation of Mr. Kramer, by the Harvard Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.

In November 2009, the United Nations General Assembly gave both Israeli and Palestinian officials three months to complete their own separate investigations into the alleged war crimes during last years Gaza conflict.

Turkish and Egyptian Presidents Voice Solidarity on Palestine Issue

After the recent meeting between Turkish President Abdullah Gul and his Egyptian counterpart Hosni Mubarak, the Turkish leader expressed his view that the two countries were key in solving the problem of Palestine.“Turkey and Egypt are two important countries in the Mediterranean as well as the Islamic world,” he said during a press conference that followed the meeting, further stating that the cause of Palestine is a priority for both countries.
