The village of Owego, in upstate New York, nestled along the tranquil Susquehanna River was the serene backdrop for the United Muslim Christian Forum’s majestic 4th Annual Milad-un-Nabi Interfaith Program, commemorating the auspicious birth of The Seal of the Messengers, Muhammad Mustafa, peace be upon him. His coming was foretold by the Anointed One, Jesus, son of Mary, (peace be upon him) in the Gospel of Barnabas. The Holy Last Messenger, Muhammad, is historically known for formulating the first charter on human rights, dispelling the darkness of polytheism, and raising society from the grip of self-oppression and ignorance to a status of sobriety, honor and integrity. By his life example, peace be upon him, hearts are turned - making tyrant into merciful ruler, sinner into saint.

The celebration of the blessed birth of The Holy Last Messenger, peace be upon him, came three months after the celebration of the noble birth of Al Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him, also hosted by the United Muslim Christian Forum (UMCF) in Binghamton, NY.

The greatest miracle in the history of mankind, a manifestation of the One God Almighty’s personal name, Allah, is still present on the wall of Masjid Qadriyyah Jamia Tajalliyat Azzam in the village of Holy Islamberg in Hancock, New York after first appearing over seven months ago in three dimensional style Arabic script of bright light (Noor). The significance of this event is that it has happened right here in North America, a Divine Act which has not graced even the holy sanctuary in Makka tul Mukkaramah, the Kaaba. This miracle, first manifested on August 2, 2010, is The Almighty’s response to the hundreds of worshippers who engaged in a most intense supplication to Almighty God; and serves as a sign of its acceptance, a warning to the oppressors and glad tidings to the believers of One Almighty God.

Beautiful snowflakes descended gently from the heavens, as the first major snowstorm of 2011 made its way across most of the United States and Canada. Yet, this did nothing to deter hundreds of guests who made their way into the Liberty Ballroom at Days Inn Motel in Binghamton, New York; faithful who gathered in anticipation of the commemoration and celebration of the auspicious and noble birth of ‘The Anointed One’, Jesus son of the Chaste Mary (perpetual peace be upon them both), his life, his doctrine of peace and his miracles.
The spirit of the expression ‘Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards Mankind’ reverberated around the exquisitely decorated ballroom as Christians and their Muslim brethren took their seats. In their smiles and greetings, the warmth, tranquility, and love that filled the room was undeniably felt by all.
